Would you put an xtra-small dog collar on you cat?

A cat collar is designed to be able to slip off or disconnect from around the neck. Since they do a lot of jumping this can be life saving

- Size and thickness is the main difference. But there is a breakaway collar that is also offered to cats in case they get stuck in a tree, fence etc...
There is no rule to say any of the collars can not be inter changeable.Source(s):
