And don't forget to put a collar with a bell on them to save the little birdies and get him/her micro-chipped just in case they are taken in the pound....

Same as first answer but water them too. Also they like soft grass and it is good for them. They hate citrus and if you want them to stay away from something citrus spray works well. Indoor cats needs their claws trimmed about once a month even with scratching post, and then we have the problems of cysts in male cats that are not spayed, the urinary tract can get infected very easy. Be careful with the food that male cats get.

1.)A great food will save lots of vet bills! Try premium foods from a pet store that don't have lots of corn and grain.
2.)Have a close relationship to your vet and practice preventative care (1-2 checkups a year, vaccines, flea preventative, stool/urine checks, bloodwork, etc.
3.)Have your pet spayed or neutered to prevent cancer, and pregnancy risks
4.)Keep your cat indoors or let him outside on a leash or in a screened porch only
5.)Keep at least 2 litter boxes for each cat and scoop daily
6.)Don't get more cats or pets than you can afford and have time for(I have this problem and it is really depressing)
7.)Groom your kitty, play with your kitty, love your kitty!
